Bryan Gregor BVSc Senior Veterinarian – Highfield Bryan graduated in 1982 and after a few years in rural practice opened the original Highfield Veterinary Clinic for Aorangi Veterinary Services Ltd in 1986. Since then he has seen it grow from a small clinic attached to the back of a house into the new purpose built clinic with all the “whistles and bells” it is today. Bryan has gained much experience as a companion animal veterinarian over the years, attending many courses both in New Zealand and overseas. Bryans’ particular interests are in small animal medicine but still finds time to “drive around in the country” treating mainly cattle, sheep. |

Gunhild Gregor VS Veterinarian – Highfield Gunhild graduated from the Free University of Berlin in 1987 and came to New Zealand in 1990, working in a clinic at Pleasant Point. Gunhilds’ main area of work is with companion animals and horses. She has a special interest in Veterinary Acupuncture and has gained International Veterinary Acupuncture Society certification. |

Sharon Newmarch Veterinary Surgeon – Highfield Origionally from Zimbabwe, Sharon spends most of her time doing surgery out the back. She has a special interest in opthalmology (eyes), and is at present undertaking further training in surgery. |

Kate Peck Senior Vet Nurse – Highfield Kate is the senior nurse at the Highfield clinic. Qualified as a veterinary nurse, Kate is largely responsible in assisting with the surgical and medical cases in the hospital. |

Michelle Shaw VN Vet Nurse – Highfield Michelle has been associated with us for years, starting work with us as a school girl, as the Saturday morning nurse at the old North St clinic. With an interest (and training) in animal behaviour, she is our behaviour consultant. Michelle spends most of her working time as a surgery nurse, but occasionally finds her way out the front. |

Pip Masefield VN Receptionist (Qualified vet nurse) – Highfield From a farming background, Pip has always had a love of animals, as well as a sound animal health background.
As a qualified veterinary nurse, she can answer many of your animal health problems. If not, she will refer you to a vet who can. |

Lisa Moffat VN Veterinary Nurse – Highfield Lisa, a qualified Veterinary Nurse. She is spending the majority of her time at present assisting with surgery cases, but ventures out the front from time to time. |

Fiona Demmock VN Veterinary Nurse – Highfield Fiona is the newest member of our staff. She is an experienced veterinary nurse having worked in Australia. |

Anna Winter VN Receptionist (Qualified Vet Nurse) – Highfield Anna has returned to part time work following her maternity leave. At the moment she is working Thursday afternoon, and helping with relief work. |

Fiona McCarthy Practice Manager – Highfield Fiona has been with Aorangi Vets for longer than she cares to remember. Originally she was the nurse/receptionist at the old Highfield Veterinary Clinic in Wai-iti Rd but now is the office manager for Aorangi Veterinary Services Ltd, based at the Highfield Veterinary Centre. |

Maree Lowen Administration – Highfield Maree works as part time administrative assistant at the Highfield office. This job is a complete change from phlebotomist (blood sucker) for a medical laboratory but is enjoying the challange of book keeping and the fact that people dont shake anymore when they see her!! |
